Buildmaster Ltd is committed to creating and maintaining a safe and healthy environment, both in our offices and on our work sites. We are committed to meeting the requirements of the Health & Safety in Employment Act 1992, the Health & Safety Regulations 1995, and the relevant Approved Codes of Practice.
We are also committed to meeting industry best practice standards.
Buildmaster Ltd will work to the Principal's Site Safety Plan, or prepare and work to our own Internal Site Safety Plan. We will take all practicable steps to:
Provide safe places of work, safe equipment, and proper materials. Establish safe work methods and insist that these are practiced at all times and provide regular supervision, induction, and training of employees
Ensure that all staff understand and accept their responsibilities to promote and maintain a safe and healthy work place
Ensure all contractors who work on Buildmaster sites have a suitable and approved Health & Safety Management System
Buildmaster Ltd recognises and promotes the importance and value of Health & Safety management, encouraging all personnel to be actively involved, and have assigned designated responsibilities to members of senior management.
Buildmaster Ltd encourages a safe and early return to work of any injured staff member.
Employees and Contractors are expected to contribute to creating safe work sitesby practicing safe work methods, ensuring that appropriate PPE and PPC is used, and reporting any unsafe work practices, conditions, or equipment to Buildmaster Ltd supervisors immediately.
This Policy and Plan will be reviewed at least every two years. |
